ECOLOGICAL AND HEALTH MATTERS

Concern has grown in recent years over the environmental impact of many modern building products and procedures. There is now a common awareness of issues such as tropical deforestation and 'Sick Building Syndrome'. Driven by the rise in asthma cases over recent years, worries about indoor pollution and allergies are particularly high.

In terms of consumption of energy and toxicity of materials, buildings and their construction are amongst the most wasteful and polluting of all areas of modern life. This situation can and must be changed……

EARTH and REED Ltd was formed in 2000 by the two Directors, Christopher North and Margery Ward. This was a natural progression from their joint experience and dedication to protecting the environment and making our homes safe and comfortable to live in.
